Abstract: In the early 1990s,the relationship between tourism and body began to attract researchers' attentions.Though great progress has been made in studying tourist embodied experiences, systematic reviews and reflections still want.Based on an analysis from the perspective of sociology of knowledge, the author divided tourism embodied experience researches into three phases covering six topics with two dimensions.Among which visual perception, other sensory perception and somatosensory experience constitute the common level of embodied tourist experiences which are mainly decided by the physical body and gender, age, race, class, health, etc.constitutes the differentiated level which stresses the built of the identity. These achievements have promoted the paradigm revolution of tourism experience researches. In terms of the inadequacies of current achievements in the system, the theme concentration and the applicability of methods and other aspects, future explorations into the paradigm significance of tourism embodiment experience and the core proposition built around the categories of "encounter","dwelling","performance" and "practice" proves to be of great significance. The author believes that an integration of western embodied theory with Chinese traditional theory with a combination of new technology with traditional methods and a complete content system should be established, including bodily experience, embodied practice, emplacement, embodied marketing and so on.
