Abstract: Digital transformation is an important choice for cultural heritage sites to take into account the creation of high-quality tourism experiences and the protection and inheritance of cultural heritages in the new era.Taking the “digital Forbidden City” as a case in point, this study integrated the task technology fit model (TTF) and the technology acceptance model (TAM),introduced the cultural heritage responsibility scale, and used the partial least squares structural equation model(PLS-SEM) method to explore the multiple influencing factors of users’ intention and behavior to use digital museums, and revealed the function of digital museums’ use intention and behavior to people’s heritage responsibility. The findings are:(1) the task characteristics and technology characteristics of digital museum can positively affect the task technology fit of digital museum, and the task technology fit of digital museum has a positive impact on users’ intention to use digital museum;(2) the perceived usefulness and perceived interest of digital museum users have a positive impact on their use intention, and the use intention of digital museum has a positive impact on use behavior;(3) the users’ intention and behavior of digital museum positively affect their sense of heritage responsibility. The research analyzed the phenomenon of digital transformation of cultural heritage sites from the perspective of users, theoretically constructed and expanded the use intention and behavior model of digital museums, and verified its impact on heritage responsibility. It provided not only countermeasures and suggestions for the optimization of digital technology construction of heritage tourism sites, but also academic reference for the promotion of national heritage responsibility based on digital means.
